On 28 January, Ambassador Maekawa received a courtesy call from Ms. Etona Ekole, UNICEF Representative in Zimbabwe, and exchanged views on challenges in humanitarian assistance and the support needed for children in Zimbabwe, in light of the global trend of declining ODA.
The Embassy will continue to support the health and development of children in Zimbabwe, in cooperation with development partners including UNICEF.
