On 10 February, Ambassador Maekawa received a courtesy call from Dr. Tawfik Jelassi, Assistant Director-General for Communication and Information at UNESCO, and exchanged views on a range of topics, including support for radio and other media, responses to hate speech, support for digital innovation, and the enhancement of information literacy.
