On February 20, Ambassador Maekawa received a courtesy call from Ms. Diana Cartier, Chief of Mission of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Zimbabwe, and was briefed on the status of IOM activities in Zimbabwe, such as support for immigration control in border areas, and exchanged views on matters such as support for Zimbabwean diaspora.
