Ambassador MAEKAWA exchanged views with His Worship David COLTART, Mayor of Bulawayo

On 17 April, Ambassador Maekawa met His Worship David Coltart, Mayor of Bulawayo, in the city and exchanged views on promoting cooperation across various areas, including strengthening of economic ties between Japan and Bulawayo. Japan is currently participating in the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) 2026, which is taking place in Bulawayo from 20 April. In addition, Japan is supporting the improvement of health sector in Bulawayo through 5S-Kaizen-TQM method and medical waste management using medical incinerators manufactured in Japan.
