Ambassador MAEKAWA's Courtesy Call on Hon. Professor Mthuli Ncube, Minister of Finance, Economic Development, and Investment Promotion

On July 29, Ambassador Maekawa accompanied by Mr. Ando Naoki, Senior Vice President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and Mr. Takada Hiroyuki, Resident Representative of the JICA Zimbabwe office, paid a courtesy call on Hon. Professor Mthuli Ncube, Minister of Finance, Economic Development, and Investment Promotion. The meeting provided an opportunity to strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation between Japan and Zimbabwe, particularly with regard to economic development, investment promotion, human resource development, and Japan’s development cooperation through JICA. Mr Ando is visiting Zimbabwe from Japan to inspect the Project for the Road Improvement of the Northen Part of the North-South Corridor developed under Japan's Official Development Assistance. The road will open soon officially.
