On August 23, the Embassy participated in OTAKUKON for the fourth time, setting up a booth to showcase Japanese rich culture. Our booth featured an ONIGIRI (rice ball) making demonstration by Embassy Chef Arakida, screenings of “Magic Candies” courtesy of Toei Animation, manga workshops led by Bill Musk, as well as introductions to Japanese culture, including yukata dressing, calligraphy, and origami. The event provided more than 700 people with a valuable opportunity to deepen their understanding of Japanese culture and Japan. The Embassy would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this memorable event possible.
