Japan handed over 201 Judo-Uniforms to Judo Association of Zimbabwe

On 10 October, Ambassador Maekawa handed over 201 Judo uniforms, donated by the All Japan Judo Federation, to the Zimbabwe Judo Association (JAZ) at the Japanese Ambassador’s Judo Cup held in Harare. The donation was made through “Sports for Tomorrow,” a Japanese government program that promotes international exchange and cooperation through sports, and the Japanese government provided financial support for the shipping costs of the Judo uniforms. It is hoped that this donation will enable Zimbabwean Judokas to practice with greater confidence and enthusiasm, leading to strong performances in Judo tournaments, and that it will contribute to the development of Judo in Zimbabwe and further deepen exchanges between the Japan and Zimbabwe through Judo.
